Vintage Map Measurer and Compass With Case

We found a small number of these vintage well made map measurers with built in compass. Precise measurer converts inches to miles and centimeters to kilometers also has a precise compass built in on the other side. These are great for hikers, motorists surveyors and pilots. These were originally used by pilots, mariners, engineers and soldiers before the use of GPS and other modern navigational equipment. Originally called a Curvimeter, a similar version of these were used by the British Royal Engineers and soldiers during WW2.
